Hi All,
I'd like to use Openfiler 2.3 (as VM which is hosted on my ESXi 4) as the destination of the backup of my Windows Server 2003 VBR 5.
Does Veeam BR 5 supports other filesystem as the underlying backup files ?
or does it have to be NTFS ?
Cheers,
Albert

Re: Using 2TB datastore with Openfiler iSCSI backup destinat
Hi Albert,
Yes, we do support other filesystems to store our backup files. As far as I know Openfiler is a regular Linux server with SSH and Perl, so feel free to add it to the backup console like a Linux server and use it as destination for your backups, whithout reformatting its filesystem to NTFS.
Thanks!
