Object not found vm-6748

So. I had a SAN crash yesterday and had to restore all VMs during the night.
Everything is up and running again.

But i installed a new VB server and restore the configuration. When i try to run a job it says it cannot find the object in the cache.
I have refreshed the vcenter and repo and got the same thing.

Is there anyway to be able to continue to use the "old chain" of backups or do i have to start over?
For example move all the backup files to something like "old backups" and then rescan repo and let the jobs run a full backup from the start?

Would be nice to continue to use the old ones.
