first run backup copy job settings

Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for a way to capture backups in a backup copy job that have been created prior to the copy job interval starting. My example here is a backup copy job that encompasses several backup jobs that run at different times (daily, weekly, monthly). Is there a way to capture the previous weekly and monthly backup data in the backup copy job without having to wait for the backup jobs to run to schedule? The use case for this is to be able to quickly capture all backup data in the backup copy job for an initial seed. It would be beneficial to not have to wait for all backup jobs to run again to schedule.

Ian, you need to temporarily set the copy interval for this backup copy job to a value that would include the date those backups were created (1 month, probably).

Ah ok, I didn't realise the copy interval included everything for the time prior to it, I just assumed the copy interval would run for 1 month in this example and then start again in 1 months time.

I will give it a shot and report back

Copy interval will last for 1 month for the first time, unless you change it back to the required value once the initial sync occurs.
