Rotating Jobs

Post by kilobits »

I have a setup of three different jobs that run on 3 rotating NAS. Only one NAS is connected at one time. The reason for this is, no matter which NAS the client has connected that week, there is at least one specific job to run for that particular NAS. Is there an easier way to go about this. What would be ideal is to have one job that would run on this the NAS, whether it was NAS A,B, or C.

You can create one job, point it to the said NAS and enable rotated drives option in the repository settings.

In case of drive being swapped, a backup job will produce a full backup on a newly-attached drive.

Thanks.
