[Feature Request] - Notification report

Post by MichaelGalea »

Dear Veeam Team,

If possible it would be very helpful to include the backup file path in the notification report sent for disk to tape backup jobs.
The file path is included in the report for failed jobs but not for successful jobs.

This would help in identifying the source without the need to check what was written on tape from the Veeam console.

Thanks,
Michael Galea

This could help identify cases were sometimes backups would take more tapes than usual because additional files would have been backed up due to eg. failure of previous backup jobs or an active full backup being present in the backup.

Maybe it could be an option we can select in the notification/tape backup job settings

Adding to the above, it would be ideal if an email notification is sent when a cleaning cycle using the cleaning tape is performed. In addition also if Veeam Backup & Replication would be able to keep count of how many times a particular tape was used(written to) this would enable the user to keep track of tape usage limit.
