DDBoost Hotfix Problem

Post by mcvosi »

Anyone else having issues with the DDBoost hotfix? I replaced the DLL on the server, but the backup service fails to start (starts and stops). For the time being I'm back on the old version.

Oops, just noticed no fix for 9.5 yet; only for 8.x?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any definitive answer, since it's not clear what hotfix you're referring to. Thanks.

Got it, the hot fix for version 9.0 and 9.5 (U1) is not ready yet. You might want to ensure that garbage collection does not overlap with backup/backup copy job activity and also open a ticket with our support team. The latter should help you to get the hot fix as soon as it's ready. Thanks.
