hi,
port 111 is used by veeamnfssvc, do we need this service all the time or only when we need to restore to vsphere?
The reason I ask because Veeam right now doesn't support nutanix AHV and i need to be able to use windows nfs to connect to AHV to export .vmdk to do restore. I could dump it somewhere and then upload that image to AHV but it will take too long.
My plan:
1. disable VeeamNFSSvc, install windows NFS services
2. Dump VMDK to AHV
3. Default: enable VeeamNFSSvc, disable windows NFS
is not really ideal but will it work?
Thanks

Re: veeamNFSSvc
Why not to specify a different server for a repository as a mount server and enable NFS service on it, instead of doing so on backup management server? Should help to avoid unnecessary collision.

Re: veeamNFSSvc
My mistake, I tried use my pc and then upload to nutanix, twice over network. Maybe the best solution is to create VM in nutanix with nfs client.
btw is that restore is the right way?
