File Server and Application Aware

When backing up a file server, do you I enable application-aware image processing or guest file system indexing? This is a large file server of 2 TB running on Server 2008. Thanks.

To put it short, you want to enable application-aware image processing for all Windows VMs, whereas guest file system indexing is completely optional.
