Tweeaking tuning

Post by ober72 »

Hi Folks,

We have deployed Veeam One to a small environment. The cpu on that server now runs at 100% and memory way up. Is there a way to tune this down since there is not much to monitor in this enviornment.

Thanks

Hi Geoff,
Could you provide some additional data such as amount of VCs, hosts, VMs monitored, CPU/Memory Usage on Veeam ONE Server? By the way, do you have Veeam ONE server and SQL server running on the same machine?
Thanks!

Hi Nikita,

We are monitoring only one host with 7 vms running. Yes Veeam One is running on the same server as the SQL.

cheers

Thanks for the reply Geoff,
and what about CPU and Memory capacity on the server?
7 VMs with 1 host should not take much resources, but SQL server by its nature usually tries to seize all available memory.

Thanks Geoff,
Veeam ONE and SQL servers may consume much if CPU and memory during such operations as performance collection, alarm modelling etc. Do you observe high resource usage all the time or only at some periods?
