Veeam Agent for windows keeps more backups then it should

hello,

I installed veeam agent for windows on a server and i configure it to keep backups for the past 60 days.
When i tried to restore some files i noticed that it showed me more then 60 restore points.

I don't want it to keep more then it should because its get my storage full.
what could be the reason?

Did you select the checkbox to create active full backups periodically in advanced settings? Thanks!

Please can you share additional details about the backup configuration:
1. What type of license are you using? (free/workstation/server).
2. Provide the schedule of the backup job. (how many restore points created per day?).

1.veeam agent for microsoft windows 2.0.0.700-free edition
2.one restore point per day.

Hi,

In your case the backup job can retain more than 60 restore points if backups have been performed more than once per day.
Also, additional backups can be initiated if you've checked one of backup events in the schedule menu.
