automated testing a la surebackup

I'm wondering if there is currently a functionality for automated testing of your created backups. Proabably not within VAW but maybe you can test the backup in B&R? If not, is this planned for the next release?

Add my vote as well. I have been bitten in the past by an unrestorable backup due to the file being corrupt. The thing that is puzzling is that you would think the VAW merge process would have noticed the problem.

Dmitry, any news on that? Now that the integration of agent management within B&R has been started (since 9.5 update 3), I would see it (testing of agent backups) as a logical next step. The recovery media is there, the backup is there, the connection to the hypervisor already exists, only the combination of all these components is missing. Thanks!
