Timed out waiting for a backup repository resource..

Hi,

During backup jobs who run parallel, we get the following warning in a SQL transaction log backup:

"Failed to prepare guest for SQL Server transaction log backup Details: Timed out waiting for a backup repository resource to become available for log shipping"

Is this a sign we have to increase to number of concurrent tasks on the backup repository?
Or are the log shipping servers too busy?

Just a Windows Server type repository.

Hi Tom, SQL Server logs backup itself doesn't occupy a repository slot, so it should be something else. I recommend contacting support as logs investigation is required.
