First time using VSS

Post by benwaynet »

I need to use VSS with one 2008 server that is part of a larger backup group.
Can I use a local account for that one server for VSS?
I read the account I use for VSS needs admin rights on the vm I'm trying to backup, does it need any other rights on the veeam server?

thanks,jb

No, it doesn't need any rights on the Veeam server.
