Post by Gallus23 »

Hi Guys,

This is the output from the yum install veeam.....

Based on this line:

Code: Select all

Building only for 2.6.32-358.14.1.el6.x86_64
You are trying to install on Redhat/CentOS 6 (the "el6" in the package name indicates this), but based on this:

Code: Select all

veeam-2.0.0.400-1.el7.x86_64
You tried to install the pakage for Redhat/CentOS 7 (the "el7" indicates this). This is further confirmed by the fact that the command that is failing. "systemctl", would not exist in Redhat/CentOS 6 but would for Redhat/CentOS 7, as that's when Redhat switched to systemd.

Try downloading/installing the package for RHEL/CentOS 6 and installing that.
