Hello,
the Replication Job Setup (Destination) allows to specify the ESX host and data store where the virtual machines should be replicates. If I wanted to use a specific Target path, which is dedicated on a specified Server, how would I set it up?
As example:
VeeamServer1 (Veeam Backup & Replications)
VeeamServer2 (Z:\, Target for Replication)
thx,

Re: Replication Job Setup
Hi, replication target can only be ESX(i) host and VMFS datastore, not a local drive on another Veeam server as you state in your example. You are provided with the ability to browse and select specific VMFS datastore available to selected host. Thanks!

Re: Replication Job Setup
Would a post Job Activity command be the solution to go?
The plan is to backup the veeam backup files onto tape. I thought to work of a duplicate of the original veeam backup files created. In case something gets corrupt during the backup to tape process, we would have the original backups. Since Replication is not the right way to go, would a post Job Activity command be the solution?
any other ideas?
Thx

Re: Replication Job Setup
Sure, post job activity this is how most people here do tape backups. There are plenty of existing topics discussing this including sample scripts on this forum. Thanks.
