How do I export from office356 directory to on prem exchang

Post by GTL »

Hey guys!

Love the product so far.

However I am trying to take the backup from office365 and figure out how to export it directory to our exchange server and I cannot figure it out. It seems i need to mount my exchange server in veeam explorer for microsoft exchange but cant find that option.

Any suggestions?

If you start a restore with the Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange you can restore to an Exchange infrastructure. There is no need to mount the Microsoft Exchange database. As you can see in the userguide (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95) there is an option "Restore to" when you rightclick on an object which allows you to restore to the on-premises Exchange.

Niels is correct. One additional remark, just to make it clear. Your exchange organization needs to be known in VBO also (just add it as an organization, you don't need to create a job against it)
