Log file question

Post by mtomczyk »

I am watching the log file for the monitor as it is working and I notice that there seems to be 2 different dates.

For example

03/18/11 10:33:24 Inform 0x0A88 xxxxxx "Querying for realtime data (3/18/2011 2:27:39 PM - 3/18/2011 3:27:39 PM)"

the time is correct on the collector as well as the VC's. They are all in the same time zone. I am just wondering if this is a normal output.

Thanks

Hello Mike,

Yes, that is an expected output. The reason for the time difference that showed up in the log file is that by default we use UTC (0) format internally which looks like to be different from your local time zone.

Thank you.
