Hi,

We backed up VMs using Veeam Backup 4.1.2. Now we're trying to restore them to a 4.1 Esxi host. It goes all the way to 10G or so and then fail with the error "the connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".

Logs are as follow:

Any idea what is going on?

Restoring to another 4.1 esxi worked just fine.

Hello Francois,

Are you able to upload any large file to this host using datastore browser? There might be a problem with the host itself.
Also, are you performing restore using a connection to a vCenter or directly to the host?

With all technical issues please open a support case and provide full logs to our team - it's very hard to troubleshoot across forum without seeing full log files.
Thanks!

What was the resolution to this problem, I've had an open support ticket for more than a week, and I'm not really getting to the bottom of it, getting the same error.
