Is anyone out here backing up to DataDomain? if so, then how fast it is move the data domain backup files to LTO4 tapes? We are using EMC networker, but since our data domain is over 30TB, and we have other 24TB full in DD, we need to move the files off to tapes. But it is taking forever. Any ideas to speed up the process? we are using DD OS: 4.9.3.1-245662.
any advice on this would be highly appreciated

Not sure whether this might be helpful in your case but still want to make you aware of the issues that some DataDomain devices have with random reads performance over CIFS. Thanks.
