We have almost completed our testing of V6. I just e-mailed support to address issue in ticket 5162666 regarding HotADD to see if they saw anything in our logs or can assist us in determining why this is not working. During my first conversation with tech support when opening the ticket I indicated I had installed using a remote SQL DB. The tech said common practice was to install V6 using the DB that is installed with the installation program on the local server because they have issues backing-up a remote DB if V6 installed. Is this still the case? If so, any special concerns with uninstalling V6 to perform rebuild? Does the uninstaller remove the DB on the remote server?

No, I believe installer will not remove the actual database, this needs to be done manually.
