Set ports to use for data transfer

Post by signal » 1 person likes this post

Is it possible to set the ports to be used for data transfer using powershell?
In GUI this is under "Edit Windows Server" / "Credentials" / "Ports..."

Those settings cannot be configured via general PS cmdlets. Also, I tried to find a creative workaround and while I found a way to access those settings, I could not proceed any further from that. Thanks.

Hello,

Digging out something from the past - sorry if this is against the rules of the forum(new guy).
I'm building an automation in Veeam and I'd like to configure the host from the backup infra via PS.
But I ended not able to set the data ports and Preferred TCP connection role.
From what I read in this topic - this was not possible in 2017.
Did this change with the latest versions of Veeam, I'm using v11.

Hi,

As of the latest version, v11a, it is not yet available through Powershell. It is configurable via VBR REST API though.

Thanks,
Oleg

You ever created any scripts that work with this? I love to see some examples, can't get it to work.
