V12 with S3 Compatible won´t work - Case #05983110

Post by aucesar »

Hi Community,

Starting a new server with v12 + S3 (iDrvree and Backblaze tested) but my jobs wont start to write/transfer data, tried and leave the job running for 23 hours and nothing.

Any advice?

Hi Augusto

You are talking about S3, but the case was opened for the community edition. Community Edition cannot write to object storage. Can you check your license again? Also an entire log package is missing.

v12 appears to support object storage. At least the buttons and wizards work, I haven't tested it yet.

You can add an object storage repository with the Community Edition, but only for restoration purposes. You will not be able to run primary or secondary jobs against it. Thanks!
