Delete Retention

Hello,

If we facing issue with storage space on the repository and need remove some of files, can we do only by delete the file from explorer?
Or should we delete the retention from VBR?

Hello,
decreasing retention is the better way. With manual deletes, the database will get out of sync. Rescans can fix manually deleted files in most cases, but it's not recommended.
