patching a VeeamONE + EnterpriseMgr + VBR ecosystem

Post by n3rdling »

We are running VeeamONE v12 along with EnterpriseManager and several instances of VBR. We are preparing to install the latest patch that was just released (20230412).

I have the KB articles about how to install the patches - but I don't see any info about the correct order to install the patch when we have multiple interconnected products. Should VeeamONE be patched first, then go down the hierarchy (e.g. VeeamONE -> EntMgr -> VBR)? Or the VBR servers first?

thanks,

You should go in that order - VONE, VEM, VBR.

Here is a checklist to help with things - https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... LjIzLjAuMA..

Here is also a post from the Veeam Community site for v12 Upgrade - https://community.veeam.com/news-56/v12 ... 6%20agents
