NFS client mount parameters

Post by Refruit »

Hello,

as Veeam supports mounting NFS shares directly (also on Windows) without haveing to use a dedicated linux repository server, i would like to know what are the default mount parameters and if there is a way to modify them?

Best regards,
Refruit

Good day,

What specific purpose or requirements are you trying to address, and which parameters would you like to add?

Because our Storage Provider has some best practices for NFS mount options that should be used.
We also facing different nfs errors, timeouts, asyncs, unverified cookie response and more, i was hoping to fix some of that by using the options that are advised:

rw,relatime,vers=3,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,mountvers=3,mountproto=tcp,local_lock=none

Good day,

To address your request, I recommend opening a support case for further assistance.
Additionally, when utilizing Linux Gateways, it is possible to use custom mount parameters, allowing for greater flexibility and configuration options.
