Oracle RMAN backup via Veeam Plug in source for backup to tape copy

Hi,

Please can you clarify for me, are Oracle RMAN backups made via the Veeam Oracle Plug-in supported as a source for backup copy to tape?

Hi Andrew,

Technically, you can use File to Tape as a workaround but this scenario did not pass all quality control process stages, thus we cannot guarantee 100 % reliability of such an approach. The official support of plug-in backups copy to tape is one of the major feature requests for our next versions, however, I cannot give any information about ETA.
