Feature request - data transfer amount by VM

Post by bretth »

Hi,
Simple thing really, but I would like an entry at the end of the action log per VM saying how much data was transferred for that VM.
eg something like this:
1:09:34 AM Removing VM snapshot 00:41
1:10:17 AM Saving GuestMembers.xml 00:00
1:10:19 AM Finalizing 00:01
1:10:32 AM Swap file blocks skipped: 11.1 GB
1:10:32 AM Deleted file blocks skipped: 16.5 GB
<added entry> Data transferred: 94GB
1:10:35 AM Busy: Source 52% > Proxy 70% > Network 39% > Target 51%

Would anyone else find this useful?

You can click on the VM on the left side of statistics to get this information.
Click on the white space to come back to the total job view.
Is this what you need?

Hi Andreas, the snippet I gave above is from the per-VM statistics. It doesn't give the amount of data transferred per VM, only a total for the job. I would like a line like my 'Data transferred' line to be added - this is not in the logs now.
This could be useful if you have an unusually large (or small?) backup and want to find where the difference has come from.
