"Restore to a original location" option to restore your SQL instances

Hi Team,

We opened case "Veeam Support - Case # 07375225 - Restore issue in CloudSQL postgres DB instance" and came to know that "Restore to a original location" option to restore your SQL instances is not possible also permissions are also changing.

Hence please fix this bug in upcoming features so that "Restore to a original location" option along with permission is resolved.

Hi Kunal,

According to the case notes, this is expected behavior and not a "bug," which means there is nothing for us to fix at the moment.
However, we can count your topic as a feature request to back up configured database permissions as well. The challenge will be in how to retrieve these permissions.
We will need official APIs from Google, and I personally have no insights into whether such APIs exist or not.
