Backup to Azure blob - Copy to Cloud Connect

Hello,

We are wondering if it is posible to backup several Azure VMs using the VEEAM Agent for Windows to Azure Blob storage and create a backup copy job to Cloud Connect?
The reason we want to do this is because these Azure VMs host Microsoft SQL Server with several SQL databases. These could be backupped with the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure plugin, however we would not be able to restore individual SQL databases utilizing the VEEAM Explorer for Microsoft SQL.
I know that backing up to Azure Blob is possible from the Veeam Agent for Windows, but im not sure if we can then create a Backup Copy job to Cloud Connect.

Hi Jos

You can create backup copy jobs from Agent backups with Veeam Backup & Replication, but not with Veeam Agent alone.
Without a backup server, you would need two backup jobs. One pointing to a Azure Blob Repository, and one backup job pointing to Cloud Connect.

You mentioned "VEEAM Explorer for Microsoft SQL", therefore I assume you have a Veeam Backup & Replication server in place to manage that Agent.
