v8 REST throttling limits

Hello everybody

We are looking into the switch to v8, with that said we need to change the REST API Throttling values.
In v7.x we have been using the following values in config file.

      </Rest>

However it seems that this is not getting picked up in v8, what is changed here ?

The throttling keys were renamed in v8. Can you please retry with the following keys?

Are these settings documented in an official KB article? We’ve been using the same ones and weren’t aware they were outdated or incorrect. It would be helpful to have a central place to check for updates or subscribe to changes regarding configuration settings like these.

Someone may also want to reach out to Gandalf to let him know the settings have been updated...

Hi Kim,

No, I also believe the old ones weren't documented publicly. Ben Young's blog post was created for version 6 (April 2022) before he joined Veeam as an employee.

We typically don't share these special configuration parameters outside of support cases. Any modifications should be made with the guidance of our customer support team.

How to increase API Limit, from 1 per sec?

Client error: `POST https://XXXXXX:4443/v8/token` resulted in a `429 Too Many Requests` response: API calls quota exceeded! maximum admitted 1 per 1s.

This solution proposed by Ben , for v6 is not valid.
