Data Transfer out
I have a scaleout repository that is setup with a performance extent on-premises and capacity tier in Azure. The repo is configured with copy and move mode. I am seeing data transfer out charges every night from the Azure Storage Account - about 100GB or so on some nights. So data is leaving Azure. Could this be a normal part of the scaleout storage management process?

Hello,
if you really want to know it, then Veeam support would be the way to go.
If guesses are okay, then I have one: there is something that needs to read data (health checks maybe?). I mean, if you store a few PBs, then there is also some egress communication, but I don't see information about the size you have.
