I have a question about the registry setting "ObjectStorageImmutabilityGenerationDays" described in KB4470.
The article mentions that for Veeam Backup & Replication v13, it is no longer recommended to change the block generation settings
due to improvements in handling immutability API calls.
However, I would like to confirm if this registry setting is still technically functional and configurable in v13.
My goal is to understand if the setting can be applied, even if it is not a recommended.
Thanks,
Ryoma

Re: [V13] Is the "Block Generation" registry setting from KB4470 still functional?
Hi Ryoma,
The config parameter itself remains alive as I can see, but as per the article I strongly advise do not set / adjust this config parameter without specific guidance from Veeam Support. Even on v12 it was only recommended to change with specific guidance from Support to the best of my knowledge, so please adhere to that rule.
But yes it appears to be alive, but should not be adjusted without specific guidance from Veeam Support.
