We have a customer that is currently using Veeam Socket licenses (Enterprise Plus - Subscription).
These socket licenses are used for the backup of a vSphere cluster.
Now, that customer will add a HPE VME cluster, but want to use the same Veeam backup server.
I know for backup of HPE VME, customer will need additional VUL licenses, but will it be possible to keep the Socket licenses to backup vSphere and use VUL licenses for the backup of the HPE VME Cluster (like we can combine Socket licenses with VUL for backup with Veeam Agents or Cloud VMs)?

Re: HPE VME - License question
You would probably need to discuss with your sales team or open a licensing support case to make sure. I think you can combine these as we have customers that have used agents/NAS backup in addition to VMware socket licenses.
