Veeam agent not seeing attached usb ssd

Post by chanklish »

Good day
I have old Veeam agent for microsoft version 6.3.3.38 on server 2008R2 that is not seeing the attached usb external ssd disk.
When clicking on browse , i can see the disk in the agent but i get an error when trying to save it : invalid folder path
disk is in exFat and shown normally in my computer

What can be the issue ?

Hello Chanklish

We strongly recommend against using exFAT as a backup target (KB4233). Additionally, starting with v6, exFAT is no longer supported as a backup target (Release Notes - Page 4).

Please try a different file system, such as NTFS. If the issue continues, contact our Customer Support team for proper investigation. v6 is still supported, but no further fixes are planned. If NTFS also does not help, you may need to upgrade Windows Server to a supported version and update Veeam Agent to v13.

Best,
