Hello Veeam Team and Community,
I would like to propose a new feature for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
Problem Description:
To meet our regulatory requirements and for internal audits, it is essential that we can export an overview of all configured users and their assigned roles within Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365. Currently, there seems to be no way way to extract this information.
Proposed Solution:
I suggest implementing a feature that allows administrators to export a complete list of all users and their roles. Ideally, this export should be possible in a common format such as CSV or via a dedicated REST API endpoint. This would significantly simplify and automate the compliance verification process.
Additional Context:
This matter has already been discussed with Veeam Support under Case ID 08092689. The support engineer recommended that I post this feature request in the R&D forums, as the functionality is not currently available.
The implementation of this feature would be a great benefit for all companies that are subject to strict regulatory requirements.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this proposal.

Re: [Feature Request] Export Users and Roles for Auditing and Compliance Purposes
Hi Martin,
Could you please specify which roles should be in scope? Is it only for Backup Admin roles, or Restore Operators as well?

Hi Polina,
the roles that are in scope are the Backup Admins that are configured under "User & Roles".
