How stable is the latest V13 build running in Windows? I want to do an in-place upgrade from V12 to V13 on Windows 2022. We are really swamped and have a small team that I can't afford to have a ton of problems . I need stability more than I need latest and greatest. At the same time, I need to upgrade to vSphere 9.1 sooner than later, which I have come to understand will not be supported in V12.
Are there any show stoppers that would prevent me from doing this upgrade? Should I just wait for 13.1 which will support vSphere 9.1?
What are your experiences like so far? We run Dell Data Domain appliances.
Thank you

Re: How stable is V13 (Windows) ?
Hi Pmichelli,
So far, v13.0 has received three patches with many fixes for issues reported by customers since the release last year. I'm not aware of any major issue right now leading to dozens/hundreds of support cases.
If you need v13.1 for vSphere 9.1 support, then that will be your target version. However, I would not upgrade directly on release day. Give it a few weeks, deploy it in a test lab first if possible, or wait for Patch 1, which we normally release a few weeks after GA in case there are customer-impacting issues to fix.
One important note: if you plan to migrate from Windows to Linux using our conversion tool (KB4800), you need to update not later than v13.0.2 for now.
Best,
Fabian
