Instant Recovery VM disks changed in size

Post by dextr »

I'm about to do an Instant Recovery on a VM that has had the size of 2 disks increased since the restore point to which I would like to restore to.

How does Veeam handle this? Will the disks be taken back down to the size they were when the restore point was taken?

Thank you in advance for any advice on this!

Instant VM recovery publishes a VM image in the same state as it is stored in the backup file/restore point, so could you please clarify your question, as I'm not sure I understand what situation you're referring to.

I understand the process now. It will do what I'm anticipating so that's good. I want the vm in the sate it was in when backed up. Thanks for the quick reply!!
