Virtual Lab Network Setup

I am setting up SureBackups under 6.1. I am setting them up for all VMs on a single ESXi server at first to keep things simple.
My ESXi server has 5 VM Networks on 5 different NICs - they are labelled VM Network 1-5. They are all plugged into the same production network so are on the same subnet and all VMs have the same default gateway.

I have mapped all 5 VM Networks to the Virtual Lab isolated network on the network mapping page.
I have mapped "VM Network 2" to the vNic on the Proxy appliance page.
All my VMs on "VM Network 2" now perform correctly in my surebackup job.

How do I map the other 4 VM Networks ? If I try to add more vNIC entries on the proxy appliance page it will not let me as it says "vNIC with such appliance IP address already exists" - which is true as all my VM networks have the same default gateway.

Hello Chris,

I guess it is not possible to do that with a single virtual lab appliance, so as a workaround I would suggest to deploy separate appliances for every VM network.

Thanks for getting back to me - when you say "deploy separate appliances" do you mean separate virtual Labs for each VM Network and then create a different SureBackup job for each ?

Yes, seems like it is the easiest workaround for your problem.

OK - I understand.

I might consolidate their VM networks a bit which would also help.
