Restore from DPM tape

Can you restore files from a tape that was written to with a previous version of DPM with Veeam 7?

We recently upgraded from DPM to Veeam7 and need to restore from an old tape from DPM.

Yes, since we use the same tape format as DPM (MTF).

Is this still possible?

We have an older DPM system that we completely replaced with Veeam. We are at the point where we would either have to build a new DPM environment to have around just in case we ever need to restore a tape or find a Veeam related solution.

I would love to not have to build a new DPM environment to have around doing nothing...

No, pretty sure we've stopped the effort of maintaining compatibility with MTF a couple of years ago. It wasn't worth the effort, and was limiting our innovation...
