Hi Guys,
We are building an RMM tool and wanting to integrate Veeam Backup checks and alerts.
Our preferred method is to use C# DLLs directly as detailed here:
powershell-f26/retrieving-a-complete-vb ... 12655.html
Unfortunately I suspect we will not be able to do this as we cannot distribute the DLLs or build them in due to licensing issues.
We would prefer not to need to use powershell directly as that can cause more issues than integrating our solution directly.
Is there any supported method/integration option for C# applications?
Thanks!

Re: C# Veeam DLL
Unfortunately, PowerShell and RESTful APIs are the only options available for you. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
REST api would be perfect but I believe the powershell module will work with a wider range of products/versions?
The majority of our clients use Veeam Backup Essentials

Re: C# Veeam DLL
Also it seems like PS6 will be removing snapins.

Will Veeam have replacement Powershell Module?

Re: C# Veeam DLL
Not in the nearest product updates, but the article seems to be talking about PowerShell Core, not PowerShell itself. Thanks!
