Bonjour,
I am looking for an example/tips to change type of disk via the quickmigration function .
Currently my powershell batch migrate (quickmigration and storage vmotion) my vm (thin) on a temporary datastore, but no subparameter like "-StorageFormat {Thin | Thick | EagerZeroedThick" is available.
For the return to the original datastore I have to use the console to change "manually" the type of disk to thick.
Merci
Cordialement

Re: change disk type thin to thick with quickmigration PS
Hi Michel,
I'm afraid it's not possible at the moment. Unless you go instant disk recovery migration way, but it requires to use instant disk recovery from a restore point instead if live migration. I noted your request though, thanks for pointing it out.
Best regards,
Oleg
