Exclude a Single VM Backup (Not All VM's) within a Job

Veeam Logoby rdixon01 » Fri Feb 28, 2014 4:55 pm

Looking a script that we run that will exclude a VM backup in a job for the next run of the job. After the next job runs (without the excluded VM) Then the exclude vm is returned to the Job. Don't want to exclude all of the VM's in the Backup job. We have times when work is being performed on a server and we do not want a backup to run while work is being performed.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Rick, how VMs are added to the backup job? As individual objects or as the part of container (folder, datastore, etc.)? Thanks.

We are backing up folders which contain the VM's

In this case, take a look at the script I've already written; should be exactly what you're looking for. Thanks.
