Exclude a Single VM Backup (Not All VM's) within a Job

Looking a script that we run that will exclude a VM backup in a job for the next run of the job. After the next job runs (without the excluded VM) Then the exclude vm is returned to the Job. Don't want to exclude all of the VM's in the Backup job. We have times when work is being performed on a server and we do not want a backup to run while work is being performed.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

We are running Veeam Backup and Replication V 9.5 Update 3. We are in the process of moving VMs in bulk to the new Vcenter environment. We will do 100 servers at a time every few days. When we are moving the VMs, I do not want to run a backup against those VMs. Our configuration in the jobs is per Cluster in vCenter.

Does anyone know a Powershell script that it accepts a list of servers that need to be excluded from the job and then exclude them from the job?
