Hello
I am currently working on a script to notify about long running jobs.
The backup-to-disk part is working
But once I try to get the Tape-jobs using Get-VBRTapeJobs the script gets stuck
The same happens when executing the command in a PS-window directly
The execution starts but no output is generated and it does not terminate
Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Get-VBRTapeJobs stuck
As far as I see it the command runs through. But it takes about 5 minutes to do so

Re: Get-VBRTapeJobs stuck
Get-VBRTapeJob is not the lightest cmdlet that we have, indeed. Mostly due to its loading media pools a job is pointed to as well as tapes present inside these pools. Thus, it takes time to execute. Thanks.

Yes.
But to determine current runtime of active Tape-Jobs there is no way around it right?

Re: Get-VBRTapeJobs stuck
Unfortunately, not. At least I'm not aware of potential workaround. Thanks.
