How to run pre/post scripts from non-domain VBR?

Trying to stop and start a service on a particular domain member server. My scripts work fine when run from a domain joined VBR, but not running from a non-domain VBR (both v10a) using the same domain credential in the job. How does one achieve this? Thanks

PS: I asked support to close the case as Veeam support is responsible for technical issues with Veeam (not 3rd party scripts)
