Hello,
I am trying to powershell out a script that will take backups imported to the data repository, and create a application group with them. The examples I have found online are taking a job, and making it an application group, but this isn't a job, it's sitting in the Disk (Import). Any ideas if this is possible?
Thanks,
John

Re: Imported Backups to Application Group
Nope, to create an application group you need to pass a job object (VM) to the corresponding cmdlet. Thanks!

Re: Imported Backups to Application Group
Hi John,
The workflow @veremin mentioned is by design in both Powershell and UI.
As a workaround, you can perform Manual Recovery Verification using Instant VM Recovery cmdlets and scripted custom tests.
Best regards,
Oleg
