Hello Team,
Currently, we don't have "Enterprise Plus License" to fetch backup status for Individual servers using RESTful API functionality, hence, could you guide us any other possible approach to get backup status of Individual servers to automate.
Regards

Re: Individual VEM Backup Status without RESTful API Functionality.
Hi Swaroop,
We also have VBR REST API and Powershell.
The rest will depend on your use case. Do you need to fetch backup session statuses from multiple VBR servers? Which platforms do you backup? VBR REST API now is only available for VMware backups, Powershell coverage is by far wider.
Thanks,
Oleg

Re: Individual VEM Backup Status without RESTful API Functionality.
Hello Oleg,
Thanks for your response.
We can't go with VBR REST API, as we don't have "Enterprise Plus License". However, we are looking for backup task session status of individual servers from multiple VBR servers using PowerShell. Is this possible ?
Which platforms do you backup?
We use 100% VMware hypervisors currently
I referred to the following docs, however, it says cmdlet is obsolete and not be supported in further versions.

Re: Individual VEM Backup Status without RESTful API Functionality.
Hi Swaroop,
I temporarily moded your topic to Powershell forum untill we decide what works for you best.
VBR REST API should actually be available across all the editions except for Community, so if you don't have Enteprise Plus and need only VMware backups, you are good to go with it. However, VBR REST still lacks task sessions endpoints, so not much of reporting on a vm level.
As for the Powershell cmdlet you shared, it refers to Surebackup task sessions and is indeed obsolete. Is it surebackup tasks you are trying to have statuses on or primary backup job tasks?
Best regards,
Oleg

Just my input, I think this might be a bit large of an undertaking for you @syellayi, maybe see if the MyVeeamReport script works for you?
