Powershell - Exclude Partitions

Hi there,

i have a powershell script to backup my vmware vm's.

Question - i like to exclude certain partitions from a vm. is there away to do this?

Hello and welcome to the community forums Adrian.

If I am not mistaken it's not possible to define the list of exclusions via PowerShell, so it should be configured via UI. Take a look at this forum post for more details. Cheers!

I use Veeam Free and cant define this with UI - is there no Powershell Partition Exclude Solution?

adrian,

This feature is available in Veeam B&R paid edition (as a part of regular VM backup job) but it's unsupported for VeeamZip which is available in Free version.

Is it possible to exclude partitons with powershell with veeam free version?
