Hello
Am looking to back up only sharepoint sites - looks like the only way to do this an make sure new sites are not missed would be to have a powershell script which goes and checks the available sites and then adds them to the job.
Has anyone done anything like this previously which can be shared?

Re: Script to check available Sharepoint sites to add in the job
Greetings Ian!
Veeam Backup and Replication performs image-level backup of virtual machines, thus all SharePoint sites deployed on said server will get protected. If new site is published on same server, it will be automatically backed up on next job run. If you deploy new SharePoint servers(say, new VM) it can be automatically added to protection job based on job configuration(for example, you could use VMware Tags and just tag new SPS in production for Veeam to detect and add it to the job)
Hope that helps!

If you are talking about Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365. You can make a backup job, add the organization and within the objects to process only select sites. This way it will automatically backup any new site.
If it is about VBR, then Egor is correct.
