Powershell to Get list of tapes in I/E slots
Is there a command to check for tapes in the I/E slot of a tape library. I can run import powershell command but reports not-successful if no tapes found. Want to do logic check - possible?

I don't think it's possible to somehow implement the said logic check via PS. Tapes located in I/O port are treated as offline, and don't contain any information about whether or not they are present inside I/O slot.

Understand, but Veeam must query the library at 4:00 PM as from the Import Tapes job detail the second line returns it has found tapes.
I was just wanting that info.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm looking for the same information. Were you ever able to figure out how to query the I/E slots?
