protection group type

Post by matteu »

Hello,

As protection group type, there is only custom or manually added.
Is it not possible to have :
-Manually added for individual computers
-Active directory for Microsoft AD object
-CSV for computers from CSV file
-PreinstalledAgent for Computers with pre installed agents ?

Is there a way to differenciate what is the real protection group type ?

Thanks

It's possible with this command:

Code: Select all

Get-VBRProtectionGroup | ft name,Type,Container
Type:
- Custom: protection groups created for individual computers, Active Directory objects or computers listed in a CSV file.
- ManuallyAdded: protection groups created for computers that were added manually to a Veeam Agent backup job.

Container:
- ActiveDirectory: a scope of Active Directory objects
- IndividualComputers: a scope of individual computers
- CSV: a scope of computers listed in a CSV file
- ManuallyDeployed: a scope of computers that were added manually to a Veeam Agent backup job.
